Picnic in the Park

Old Buckenham Country Park
Old Buckenham Country Park has been a labour of love over the past 5 years for Ben and the OBCP team.
Previously unused agricultural land, we have worked hard to improve the area for wildlife as well as create a quirky and inviting place for you and your family to come and enjoy.
Our goal is to create a holistic place for our campsite guests and the local community that promotes the outdoors, being active, social interaction and above all FUN.
We have planted hundreds of trees, regenerated hedges and sown wildflower seeds to enhance the habitats for wildlife. In addition, we have erected a number of bird boxes and introduced native fish into the lake.
OB Cafe is our onsite Club house offering fine local roasted coffee and homemade cakes with hot and cold snacks.
Old Buckenham Country Park has a selection of pitches and accommodations to choose from to suit everyone's needs. From camping to glamping - there is something for everyone!
A fantastic 3 day weekend, showcasing the wonders of the the hot air balloon world, whilst also filling the weekend with great local street food truck and beer festival and live music.
Start Making Memories Today
Start your stay with a walk around our 32-acre site, or take advantage of our mile-long obstacle course with a path alongside it for running.
If you are feeling less energetic, kick back with a drink from our licensed café, on the deck overlooking the lake and just take in your tranquil surroundings.
Our friendly, passionate team are always happy to help if you need any information about the park. We want you to have an unforgettable experience, so don’t be afraid to ask.
Set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, the park has a great variety of wildlife just waiting to be discovered. You can explore the lakes or our nature trails, take part in one of our many wildlife activities, go for a guided nature walk or attend our wildlife talks.
We have teamed up with Allan from talk: Wildlife to help you make the most of the nature to be found at the park. The talks and other activities are open to our campsite guests as well as casual visitors.
