Talk Wildlife Activities - September & October

As you know we partnered with Allan from talk Wildlife this summer, and he has decided to run further activities into September - October. 

All activities are designed for all age-groups and are completely free! You don’t need to be a resident at the campsite; you are welcome as a day visitor too. Activities are completely free and our meeting point is at our onsite cafe’ “OB Cafe”.

• NATURE TABLE - Sunday 18th September (All day) - Antlers, Skulls, Shells, Fossils, Galls and more will be sharing the table. Come hear their stories!
• SIGNS OF AUTUMN - Saturday 24th September (10:30am until 2pm) - A walk around the park to discover the changes that are triggered by the new season.
• ROOTS TO BRANCHES - Sunday 2nd October (10:30am until 2pm) - The park hosts a number of interesting trees. Come and meet them and find out about the life of trees.
• UNDER THE SCOPE (10am) / OWL'S LUNCH BOX (2pm) - Saturday 8th October - Investigating the smaller side of the natural world, followed by the dissection of owl pellets.
• EGGS INSIDE & OUT (10:30am) / DISCOVER BIRDS (2pm) - Sunday 16th October - Discover the structure and diversity of birds eggs using replicas, followed by how birds evolved and their lives today.
